Description

A new, more ergonomic design promotes an upright and stable seating position. The seat plate incorporates a 5° pre-tilt at the knee, encouraging a natural squatting posture for toileting. Its redesigned shape, based on seated imprints (refer to pressure mapping diagram), alleviates pressure on sensitive areas and bony prominences. Optional overlays offer cushion depth, reduced commode openings, or a solid showering seat. Front transfer supports enable users to position themselves comfortably for toileting or showering.

The ERGO shower chairs are crafted from corrosion-free stainless steel, boasting an improved caster design to minimize dirt accumulation in the axle area. The collection pan rail keeps the pan closer to prevent splatters. Featuring volume markings inside, the pan includes a convenient hook on the handle for lid storage. The chair is autoclave-friendly at 80°-90°C, with cleaning instructions in the manual. The 24" rear wheels have quick disconnect axle pins, enabling the chair to be rolled or pushed using the existing 5" casters, which include PVC handrim and hand brakes.

The ERGO seat is height adjustable from 18.5" to 23.4", with armrests that can be set at 8.3"/9.8"/11.3" from the seat. Height-adjustable footrests range from 12.4" to 18.2" from the seat, featuring adjustable fabric heel loops and an angle-adjustable plate. The machine-washable coated-nylon upholstery includes multiple straps for adjusting tightness or depth. The chair can be disassembled for travel or storage.
