The Ultra-Care Excel presents a distinctive mattress system crafted to manage and treat pressure ulcers and bed sores effectively. This system combines alternating pressure and low air loss functionalities. With 20 rows of 5" high air cells atop a 3" integrated foam base, it ensures 8" of therapeutic support, safeguarding against power loss. Besides the alternating pressure mode, it offers a static mode for a firm surface when required. The ventilated nylon-polyurethane air cells are durable and simple to disconnect, facilitating easy cell replacement and enabling specific mattress sections to be deflated for zero pressure without affecting the alternating benefits.

For safety, CPR quick deflate cells are positioned at the head of the mattress. Each cell provides variable pressure settings for maximum comfort, supporting up to 325 lbs. Notably, the mattress itself is offered without the air pump and mattress cover, both available separately. At 80" in length, it fits most standard bed frames and weighs a mere 13 lbs., facilitating easy relocation, ideal for multi-user settings. The ventilated air cells create a microclimate that reduces moisture, maintaining low air loss benefits regardless of the operating mode. Cleaning the cells is effortless with a soft cloth and warm soapy water.
