The Vive Health pressure mattress pad is specifically designed to provide relief from bedsores, pressure spots, and ulcers that can occur due to prolonged bed rest from injury, surgery, or illness. It features 16 individual air chambers that work to evenly distribute weight, offering superior comfort and support. This design helps in preventing pressure ulcers by reducing pressure points on the body. The mattress is protected with a latex-free, waterproof cover, ensuring durability and hygiene, and it supports up to 320 lbs. This type of mattress is similar to alternating pressure mattresses, which are commonly used in medical settings to prevent bedsores and pressure ulcers by redistributing pressure and enhancing circulation.
Intended for use by those confined to a bed for an extended period of time. Prevents sores that are caused by prolonged bed rest.
